The Destino Rocío Foundation promotes the production of a series of short documentaries that will be made along the routes to give visibility to the municipalities. In this chapter, we talk to entrepreneurs from the town of Alhama de Granada and learn first-hand about their reality, their main challenges and uncertainties.
Our Senderos del Rocío project aims not only to lay out trails, but also to foster a genuine dialogue with local communities, involving them in every stage of the project and ensuring that they benefit equitably and sustainably from this activity.
We are convinced that the development of these rural municipalities is not only possible, but essential to build a more prosperous and inclusive future for Andalusia. This short documentary film is just the beginning towards that goal of giving visibility and promotion to those small municipalities that need it, and we hope that the stories of its protagonists will inspire you as much as they have inspired us.
